“Ok, so I decided to get a room here for 2 nights to do a stay cation with my kids and husband. I booked the king suite with a hottub in the room. It seems like every hotel i find never has a hottub, so i finally found one with it in the room, Bonus!! The hotel itself smells good, overall clean and looks nice. The pool was cool. Plenty of room, it could be warmer since it is -10 and snowing outside but thats my opinion.. The area itself needs major improvements. The celing was falling apart and……

“The only issue I found was not at all a reflection of the hotel or staff. Our room was on the second floor and there was definitely pot smoke in the hallway. To the point we smelled it in our bathroom last night and it lingered around this morning. ”

“The Scarlet was clean, comfortable, and convenient. I was there on business and the customer's office was literally next door. This turned out to be really important because there was a big winter storm that pushed temperatures to 10 below while I was there and it was nice to just walk about 60 yards to my customer's office as opposed to needing to drive in those conditions. The hotel staff is warm and inviting. They have a nice restaurant and bar on site that serves really good meals. There……

“The hotel is fine. Aged and in need if some repairs. The shower curtain rod in the bathroom was not securely attached. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was rather loud and need to be repaired. The sink had a crack in the bowl that looked like a hair which refused to go down the drain. Just little details that needed to be repaired. ”

“The hotel staff made my visit a great experience. To the vallet attendant, guest services, and the bartenders. They were amazing, friendly and so helpful. “This property had everything we needed for some rest and relaxation. The lake was perfect and there were plenty of water toys (kids loved playing on the lilly pad)! There were even beautiful walking trails just a minutes walk from the property. Highly recommend!”
