“The staff were very friendly and helpful. We Loved our stay at the Mathis House Victorian Bed & Breakfast and Tea Room luncheon. Beautifully decorated. Loved all the food selections. both Tea & breakfast. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Had a cute shop also. We loved the selections of teas & bought some for home. Highly recommend staying here.”

“When I booked this property I didn’t realize it was in a restored (plus newer replicas) historic village. It was on the edge of the New Jersey Pine Barrens which is why we booked. The weather was not great and it was relatively early in the summer season so it was pretty quiet. It might be a bit busy later on in the season. Lots of shops and good dining options on site. Nice, comfortable room with a colonial/early 1800s motif. Cool little train that ran around the property. ”

“The Pearl was a great room with its own private bathroom. The property has a great kitchen area, front porch, and library/den for relaxing that are available to all guests. We would definitely return. The only recommendation I have is to have a full length mirror in the room as a lot of wedding guests stay at this property. A minor recommendation, but throwing it out there. Such a great stay!! Thank you for being so accommodating! ”

“Very clean. Beautiful decorated. Loved the Halloween touches. The pumpkin cake was perfect for a morning snack. The location is great for LBI but easy to catch a bus to NYC. My 2nd time and I will be backwill be back.”
