“Our family of four had a fantastic stay at Welcome Home Cottage. It is in a nice and quiet location and the house is great. Very cosy (can imagine it is great in winter!) with everything, and more, that you need. “We really enjoyed our stay here but the layout is definitely different. It is not for people with mobility issues but otherwise it is great. The are multiple places inside and out to enjoy the view and it is pretty spectacular. We loved sitting in the sunroom and enjoying the view of the hills and the river. “This property was an easy walk to Te Anua Town Center. Lots of space available in this home and so good to have a washer and dryer and a sturdy drying rack. Ample towels and bedding. The beds were a bit hard for our tastes and the sofa a bit lumpy and difficult to get up from. Adding a larger mirror in the bathroom would be helpful or even a full length one somewhere in the house would be nice. Nice safe, secure, quiet location with ample windows and good shades for light control.wo”

“Two blocks from a rocky beach (good for a swim, with water shoes) and stunning views. Quiet neighborhood close to trail along the lake. House has everything you need in the kitchen, a nice deck, and was super clean when we arrived. Note that if you want to use the hot tub, there is an extra charge (to cover cleaning, which seems reasonable), and owners will unlock it. Plenty of room for two couples (and there is a bunk room too!). ”

“This was a great spot for our time in Te Anau. We used it as home base to explore the region (hiking, Milford Sound, etc.). Location is hard to beat - very close to the lakeshore, business district, city park, Fiordland DOC Visitor Center and multiple very good restaurants (Ditto, Redcliff, Miles Better Pies).
