“Lovely place with pleasant hosts. Spacious and good amenities. Very nice breakfasts. Located in 1909 mansion with beautiful furnishings and elegant public areas. While we had ensuite bathroom with old tub and shower, apparently some have shared bathrooms. Parking is limited and on street parking is rarely available. Price was a good value for Seattle. Interesting variety of restaurants nearby. We would consider returning here”

“Skip and Jane were wonderful hosts! Everything you would expect from a Victorian home bed and breakfast. Lost of history to see and enjoy. The yard and gardens were well groomed, the rooms were very clean. There happened to be a major heat wave when we were visiting and they brought a portable AC unit to our room on the 3rd floor to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious as well. They were very kind to ask about allergies, sensitivities or diet preferences……

“Everything and more than we could have wished, from the lovely drive in to the welcoming meadow and patio. Inside we enjoyed a spacious suite with fresh flowers , fruit and cookies. The mattress and ensuing sleep , caressed by fresh country air was divine. Kathy was a perfect and pampering hostess, going out of her way to supply special requests. I wish we had many more days to enjoy this special place. ”

“Friendly and good food”

“A good place, that worked well for my family. Host communicated very well. Location was perfect for our needs. There are some quirks to the property Lower level apartment, so you can hear upstairs movement and talking. No sink in the kitchenette. Tall people will have to watch out for the vent. Nothing major, we would stay there again. ”

“From the moment we pulled up, Penny and her 🐶 welcomed us. We were blown away by the views. Pictures dont do it justice. The suite was perfect for us. The treats Penny left were delicious! We look forward to staying in the cottage our next trip. ”
