“Wish we were able to stay longer than 2 days at this wonderful place. Great location, about 6 minutes to Manchester center as well as many restaurants and shops. The enclosed stone wall courtyard between our barn and the owner’s house was beautiful and very useful for our dog to run around. We found all the amenities we needed within the barn, window ACs made the space cool and comfortable over 95F weather days. Beautiful views at sunset with quintessential Vermont rolling hill. “This was the perfect place to get away. Surrounded by fields, woods, and mountains. Sunrises and sunsets were great. Fire pit was nice place to end the evening under the stars. We also enjoyed watching the dvd about the school bus cabin and then visiting it farther back in the woods. ”

“The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own.
