“We booked via expedia. Since we expect ourselves to arrive later than check in hours, we have requested expedia to contact the park for late check in arrangement. The reply from expedia is asking us to contact hotel directly. We arrived the park 18:01 and the reception is closed. Without receiving any safe box code from expedia, we stand in front of the gate with wind and rain. Fortunately, we called and left message to the park’s after hours mobile, and Belinda (the property manager)……

This was however rectified relatively quickly by the property manager. The house is well appointed and comfortable. A bit of TLC and the place could be a cracker. “This is a lovely peaceful place to stay, we had the pontoon and enjoyed being out on the river. Kids enjoyed the pool table in particular. David is very helpful and is around if you need him.Also you can boat up the river about 40 mins to get lunch on dry land at the Anchor at Spencer where they will kindly help you bring the boat in and out. A very convenient place just an hour from Sydney for a relaxing getaway.”
