Checking in was seamless, they allowed early check in without additional charges since our flight came in earlier than expected. They will let you use the amenities even while waiting for your room to be ready. So that was nice. If you book through Expedia, they don’t ask for a credit card on file for incidentals, which means you can’t charge anything to the room, such as restaurants and laundry, which was a bit inconvenient to a degree.
The amenities are ok… the gym had broken equipment so I wasn’t able to use it. The pool was a bit disappointing as due to its nature of not having a door access code, it’s a free for all so it’s always occupied by people.
There’s a spa which I didn’t try.
The room was decent. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors talk and especially frustrating at night when the hotel has a party. I had to call to inquire about the party that was going on one night as it was already past 10 pm and it was so loud. They offered to move us to a different room, however it was just going to be an inconvenient thing to do while you’re trying to sleep anyway.
Room service was great, very attentive staff, however inconsistent, as some requests made through the phone was not completed or significantly delayed.
Overall I would rate this hotel a 6/10. I would probably consider other options before going back.
The buffet was crowded, by the way. Perhaps due to the affordability of the hotel, people tend to go there to take advantage of the buffet.
