“Everything was great, but the Davenport didn’t open up”

“Good stay, nothing out of the ordinary, room was a mini suite styled room. Queen bed and a sofa. Bed and Tommy itself was clean, the sofa could use a steam cleaning. Very worn and not ideal. Other than that everything else was in great working order. ”

“I arrived and reluctantly stayed, even though the room was in need of a cleaning. I found a bar of soap and soap wrapper in the shower. I'm not sure the shower had been cleaned as there was hair in it. I stayed 2 nights and did not step in shower. There was a towel on the shower...not sure it was washed. Cobwebs were plentiful in the bathroom. I would have left, but it was my only option for my stay in Faulkton. I am not a neat freak, but this was absolutely not acceptable.”

“The ownership/staff is very friendly and accommodating. The motel definitely has been around for a long time, but I like the real wood paneling; it is warm and cozy. I would have rated comfort even higher because the bed is very supportive, but the pillow is a typical hotel pillow, firm to the point of not being very comfortable. Aberdeen is what it is, an overgrown farm town, but it does contain Northern State University, which helps the atmosphere. Because I go for business, it does not……
