“David and his team were exceptional! All meals were delicious and prepared fresh by their chef. Very close (5-7 minute) to the gate park! They have so many add on features including a champagne breakfast within Maasai Mara National Park…They also have photography options to capture your moments. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The bathrooms and kitchens can use some revamping but David is constantly making improvements to the space. Looking forward to staying here again. ”

“This hotel is a very old.I can understand it had its history since 1965. I respect the history but It is obvious that they had never renovate or make improvement to their rooms! “Mara Major Camp is the perfect place to stay for an authentic Kenyan safari experience. The lodge staff are local Maasai that truly make the place special. We were the only guests at the camp because we stayed at the beginning of the rainy/off season and they were so attentive to us, taking care of all our needs.
