Built in 2012 on over 3 acres with more than 150 live oak trees, this fabulous home is a comfortable, chic retreat just 3 miles from downtown Blanco. Relax in the private hot tub, wine and dine by the river, or kick back by the fireplace! Great getaway
Beautiful well kept home on secluded property but close enough to town to be very accessible. The River front is well kept and would be completely amazing when there is more rainfall. This place would be awesome for large groups as there is other lodging on the property, a pavilion and beautiful grounds. The home is exactly as listed and we enjoyed our stay!

Quick Weekend in the Hill Country
My brother and his wife came to explore the Blanco area for the weekend. The house is great and in a very convenient location. We enjoyed happy hour Saturday evening on the sitting area down by the river. We had coffee on the back porch both mornings. The furnishings are complete and we were very comfortable. We will be back!

Beautiful House in a Great Area!
We had a blast at this house! It is a beautiful house in a great area. Just about anywhere you'd like to visit in the Hill Country is in easy driving distance from this property, too. The house was very well-furnished/stocked for our stay, and we appreciated all of the drawers and switches being labeled. That was extremely helpful and thoughtful. One of the owners, Ruth, was extremely helpful and very communicative with us before, during, and after our stay. We saved this house for our next trip in the area in the future!

Great for Families
This property was so well maintained and had all the basics needs. It truly felt like staying with family. They had fun lawn games for the kids (or adults), basic cleaning supplies, bandaids, and lots of blankets and pillows. My girls really loved the game room upstairs and access to the river. My husband and I enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, and beautiful views of the property from the living area. This is a wonderful property that is good for relaxing and now far from lots of fun in Hill Country. We will definitely stay here again.

This property was so beautiful, trees everywhere, deer grazing in the front yard and we even saw a fox frolicking in the pasture at dusk. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed. Everything was clean and organized. The television is upstairs in the loft which for us old folks is a bit of a climb but Monday Night Football beckoned! We played games at the table on the covered porch as the weather was perfect. We were fortunate to have the entire place to ourselves as both the other cottages were vacant during our stay. We would definitey stay here again.

Beautiful house in a centrally located setting
My family and I stayed here for a week over the new year. The house was beautiful and well appointed. There was plenty of room in the loft for my son to sleep on the air mattress and us to still be able to play foosball and watch the TV. We enjoyed both the inside and outdoor spaces. The hot tub was well used during our trip and we liked having the outdoor music. The river was running low so we did not get to take out the kayaks but did get to do a little fishing. The property is in a great location and we were able to get to Science Mill, Cave Without a Name, Dreamland, Guadalupe State Park all within an hour of the property. Overall this is a very nice place in a good central location.

Excellent spot for a mancation!
My brother, myself, and a few friends took a break from our hectic lives to get outside and relax at the property. Everyone had a great time playing foosball, poker, and cornhole while we watched the PGA championship. The place was secluded, private, and perfect for our weekend getaway. It was clean, and well prepared for our stay with excellent communication from the property manager. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to another trip in our future.

Had a good time
The property was beautiful. I loved that we didn’t have to share the bbq pit. We were kind of confused about the side doors but we figured it out. Loved that the kitchen was labeled. It was a huge helped. Even though there were 2 other houses on the property it was far enough away that we could enjoyed ourselves. The bathroom in the master bedroom was big enough for 3 of us to do our makeup and everything. And we are pretty healthy. The hot tub was so nice and hot. We had a blast in there. Upstairs was so nice and comfy for movie night. The windows were awesome to open and it was cold during the day and it let in some amazing freshng air. I do wish we had firewood to be honest but that didn’t ruin our trip. The bbq and house was equipped with everything we needed. I have to say. Maybe 5 people could fit comfortably in the 2 bedrooms but I wouldn’t say 6. Yes someone can sleep upstairs on the couch, they did say there was an air mattress but we didn’t look, so yes technically oh can fit 6 but in that case you can fit someone else on the living room couch. So 7 people can fit here comfortably. Overall. We can an amazing time and we will be visiting this place again just cause we just love the hell out of this house. Thank you for having us.

Great getaway
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The biggest snafu was Check in. My emailed instructions stated 3p and I arrived around 3:30 only for my code to not work. After reaching the owners was informed that the check in time was an error and was really 4p. It was just a drag to be outside in July with a couple seniors. Everything else about the home and property were great. Wish we could have enjoyed the grounds more but there were too many stickers to comfortably run around and explore. One recommendation is to provide a bit more information about the river and swimming fishing areas in the printed details. We were hesitant to venture too far up or down in case we might wind up on private property or somewhere unsafe. So we stayed very close to the house but would have loved to find some colder water as it was pretty shallow and a bit on the warm side. As for the house itself, it had everything we needed and then some! It is beautifully decorated and had very comfortable beds. The access to coffee pods and micro popcorn was a really nice touch. I do recommend describing that the only T.V. is in the upstairs loft. It wasnt a big issue but one of our seniors had to brace themselves to make the hike to get to see their news programs. Would have loved to check out the nearby wineries but you know....covid! It was just a great opportunity to get to celebrate my son's birthday with his favorite pasttime, fishing, and have grandparents join for our own private little "stay home" getaway.
