Beachfront paradise. The resort sits right on Marco’s powder-soft sand, so we went from villa to ocean in under two minutes. Sunsets from the shoreline (or our balcony) were postcard-worthy every single night.
Pools for every mood. Our kids practically lived in the main grotto pool with its fun waterslide, while we rotated between the quieter upper-deck infinity pool and the family-friendly lower pool. Plenty of loungers, towel service, and a staff that never stopped smiling.
Spacious villas that feel brand-new. We booked a two-bedroom unit and loved the full kitchen, washer/dryer, and massive balcony overlooking the Gulf. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully stocked—even the mattresses felt fresh-out-of-the-box comfortable.
Activities galore. From morning yoga on the lawn to free crafts in the activity center and afternoon shell-hunting walks, there was something for everyone. Off-property excursions (Everglades airboats, Hammock Bay golf) were easy to arrange through the concierge.
Dining that hits the spot. Stilts Beachside Bar & Grill served up terrific grouper tacos and sunset cocktails, and when we wanted variety we just crossed the street for more local restaurants—no car required.
Service that’s pure Marriott. Every team member—from valet to housekeeping—greeted us by name and genuinely cared that we were having a great stay. One small maintenance issue was resolved within ten minutes, and they followed up later to be sure everything was perfect.
