“Cette grande maison ancienne possède tous les équipements nécessaires pour loger plusieurs familles sans que l'on empiète sur l'espace de personne. Le bois attenant à la propriété est gigantesque, les jardins sont pourvues de jeux pour enfants trampoline, balançoires et cage de football. La cuisine pourvoie tout l'équipement nécessaire à la préparation de repas qui raviront de grandes tablées. Toutes les chambres possédaient également un ventilateur ce qui nous a permis de supporter les deux……

“La única pega es que al poner la dirección en el GPS no te lleva a la puerta de acceso, sino a la fachada principal, que está cerrada. Se accede por el aparcamiento y no está muy bien indicado. Pero el sitio es maravilloso. Habitaciones nuevas, amplias, limpias y silenciosas. El entorno muy bonito. Muy recomendable.”

“Wat een heerlijke plek was dit. Zoveel rust en ruimte, middenin de natuur en omringd door allerlei bosdieren. Het huisje zelf is meer dan comfortabel, superschoon en netjes en voorzien van alle gemakken. De goedgevulde groentetuin maakte het helemaal af. De eigenaren zijn hele hartelijke en vriendelijke mensen, die ons een warm welkom hebben gegeven en verwend hebben met allerlei lekkernijen. De kinderen wilden er eigenlijk niet meer weg en hebben genoten van alle speelmogelijkheden op het……

“This is such a beautiful home. It is located in a quiet area close to the center of Poitiers. The house is very large, so there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Phillipe is such a wonderful host. He was so incredibly kind and generous with his time. He drove all the way from Paris to meet us. We arrived early, so he had a friend meet us at the house to make sure we were able to get in. We had so much fun getting to know Phillipe. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely……

“We stayed at Walnut Lodge from 22nd to 29th July 2025 while attending a wedding at a nearby château just 5 minutes away—and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The location was absolutely ideal, tucked away in a peaceful setting yet just 10 minutes from La Roche-Posay, home to an incredible spa, casino, and plenty of local shops and restaurants serving fantastic food.There’s also a lovely market held twice a week that’s well worth a visit.Our hosts, Lisa and Bryan, were exceptional from……
