What was unique about this property is that it was half a gas station. I definitely have never seen that before and it was conveniently not in any of the pictures. Another thing that was not in the pictures was the constant swarm of flies around the entire property, and in the rooms. Nothing like choking on a fly the second you sit in bed! Lastly the room was decorated with mold behind wall fixtures, hair in the hairdryer, and bubbles in the wallpaper. A nice extra touch is that there was a very loud generator going off right behind the complex when I arrived. They also did not have a usable check in area upon arrival. It was just some guy who went to get another guy to come out then checked in outside. I knew not to expect a 5-star place for the price point, but I feel like this really was misadvertised.

The staff at the hotel was great! We had priblems with our tv & the came immediately to repair the situation. The location was excellent to go north or south along Highway 1. The cost was prefect for our budget allowing us to spend our money shopping, visiting local attractions & eating out.

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Monarch Valley verbracht. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig und gut eingerichtet. Der Kühlschrank war leider noch mit Lebensmitteln der vorherigen Gäste gefüllt, ebenfalls lagen Kekse unter dem Schrank. Hier wird nicht ordentlich gereinigt. Wir haben inklusive Frühstück gebucht - es gab eine Banane, eine Mandarine und einen Keks. Dazu noch einen Joghurt. Das ist schlecht. Aufgrund von Renovierungsarbeiten mussten wir auf dem Zimmer frühstücken. Keine Info vorab über diesen Zustand. Hätten wir es vorher gewusst, hätten wir woanders übernachtet.
