“I went up with my best friend to attend a wedding on a different lake in a nearby town. The location of this cottage made it easy for us to get to and from the wedding. While the cottage has lake access, it’s not any type of beach front but you can load kayaks easily. However the ease to find a public beach is easy enough. “Quaint and super clean cottage!”

“Stayed for one night with 6 family members and the dog. Lodged in one of the newer cabins and it worked perfect for us. Check was available right on time and parking was close enough to make the move in convenient. Very clean and ready to go when we showed up. The amenities are great for both the cabin and the property as a whole. Family took out the kayaks on the lake to explore with were all in great condition. Charcoal grill and table right outside cabin door was perfect for out cookout……

“We enjoyed our stay at the Ranger House. The lake was beautiful and fishing was decent. It’s an 8 min walk to the lake so we drove down for fishing. We had fun learning about the property’s previous owner Harry Bennett and looking for the previous Boy Scout buildings. Steve was easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend this rental! ”

They have a welcome book that covers questions about your stay to locations of food, lakes, wildlife and everything in between. The hot tub is great with a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by woods.
