“Situated in a lovely Town centre, quirky black and white pub with typical unique low roofs, undulating floor and very old sections.
The breakfast was great, the bedroom was cosy & warm with a comfortable bed. Reasonable price compared to others around.
No parking on site but secure car park nearby with relatively cheap cost for overnight parking using a parking App.
Ideal commute distance for Cheltenham and surrounding area. Would recommend”
“The hotel was very well positioned for walks given the area, it iis well recommend, also was run like clockwork very efficient. We ate in the hotel and the food was very good especially the breakfasts. ”
“Lovely location, quaint old house but generous size rooms beautifully decorated. Joan was very caring and helpful and the breakfast choice was great. Would definitely recommend Jessop house if you are visiting Tewkesbury”
“Stayed here to visit RHS Malvern and decided this would be a nice treat.
The property is amazing and all the staff that we met were excellent.
We booked dinner in the Refectory restaurant for the two nights as it was an AA rosette recommendation.
However the dining experience was not what we expected.
Although the food presentation, quantity and quantity were fine our meals on both nights were far from hot and some of the vegetables were almost cold. Not wishing to wait for replacements we ate……
“This property is well located in the centre of town with easy walking distance to the river, cafes and town sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner are very good. The only downside is that rooms are accessed by very steep circular stairs and the car park is accessed by a very tight driveway and limited parking spaces. There is a public car park behind that is easier to access, but Pay and Display during the day. We very much enjoyed our stay in this heritage pub……
“Made to feel incredibly welcome. They helped at every opportunity and without doubt one of the best hotel stays we have had.Cannot recommend highly enough.”
“Our first stay at this Inn and we will certainly return. We had a lovely welcome and George and the team were kind and attentive.
The food and service was fab and the accommodation comfortable, clean and well designed.
Truly dog friendly and beautifully situated.
Thank you ”
“Very friendly and welcoming team. Comfortable rooms and friendly, busy bar. Dog friendly without the extra charges that most hotels add. Great access to the hills and Malvern.”
“Staff that we encountered seemed to give different information about breakfast. On enquiring about format we were told ‘ 9 ish’ no set price as we could select from menu, however on taking breakfast full English was only option. It was a good breakfast but had to chase staff for a cup, more tea/coffee, only gave 2 cubes of sugar ?? If you wanted an early start 9/9.30 is too late . Lovely room in a lovely location but again some small niggles. Had to provide our own shampoo/ shower gel, security……
