“There is so much space in this house and yard that we could do things together or have our own place to be. The house is stocked with so much so anything we forgot, they had. We were able to cook every meal, enjoy a big pot of coffee every day, kids had hot cocoa, sit on the enclosed porch and read, eat on the back deck, play catch in the backyard, watch tv and retreat to our own bedrooms at night. It felt like our home. Everything is labeled so we were able to use things without fear we would……

“The property was very clean. There was a lot of space to spread out in. The beds were very, very comfortable. Bathrooms were totally updated. Enjoyed the fireplace in the dining room area. Furnished in a fun, quirky way. Location was very convenient for visiting the wineries & casinos. Only negative was the house was cold. It took quite alot of time for it to warm up on our first day & it never really got warm enough. Understand because the house is so large & older. The dining room……

“I would have given this property 5 stars but water pressure in one bathroom was very low and the amount of available hot water was inadequate for 7 guests. This property was roomy with plenty of space for guests. The kitchen was very nice as was the dining room. It is located on a busy street which makes it hard to turn out of the driveway. Our hostess was quick to response to any questions.. there were large black ants here and there inside dwelling which may have been due to heavy rains when……

“After a small glitch to begin the stay, which the owner responded to quickly, it was a pleasant stay. The living area, kitchen and dining area are very nice. So is the front porch and the fire pit is also nice although we did not use it. The half bath on the first level was a nice plus. The stairs to the second floor bedrooms are a challenge for elderly ”

“Spent weekend here to visit a student at Wesleyan about 20 min away. Secluded, peaceful with beautiful views. This house has everything we needed! Even on a rainy weekend the location was perfect. Can’tWait to come back and enjoy the beautiful outdoor deck some day!”
