“Firstly, communication with property manager was excellent...any queries were answered promptly.The accommodation, first entering the premises, was positive. A clean area of kitchen and lounge greeted us. A welcome pack was found in the kitchen together with milk, cheese and butter in the fridge. A lovely touch indeed. Thank you. The beds were spotless and well made up. However, when my wife went to make tea, the kitchen sink tap was very loose and twisted round..giving the impression that it……

“The property was a good size well kept comfortable and not too far from shops and beach and from our family . Great for parking lovely neighbour hood . Loved everything on one level . Had everything you need . Does need better WiFi we ended up paying for data on phones due to WiFi not powerful enough but if you don’t really use internet then wouldn’t be an issue . Everything was easy to use just could do with a little heater in third bedroom off kitchen as does get cold even though there’s……

“We enjoyed our stay! Good location on the beach in walking distance of restaurants and relatively easy to park on the street. Friendly staff, and great food at the restaurant. Breakfast was solid too with the option of kippers to go with a full-English-type spread. Would recommend! ”

“The Sefton is a grand building toward the town centre end of the promenade and about 10 minutes walk from the Sea Terminal and buses to and from the airport stop close by, so very convenient. Check in was smooth. I booked an atrium room which was quiet, modern but not bland. Good bathroom, living area with a balcony. The room was clean and in good order, regular top ups in the tea/ coffee dept; along with complimentary bottled water. The bed was rather firm I thought but I slept well. Breakfast……

“Fantastic location, the place itself was incredible. The kitchen/living room was huge, very spacious, big windows so lots of light and very well equipped. Private and out of the way. Bedrooms and bathrooms were an excellent size, well equipped, and very clean. Beds very very comfortable. The area was very quiet, convenient (bus stop nearby, trains within walking distance, shop within walking distance although a hill to get there but that didn't bother us at all). “It's a very clean hotel, the ownership is very friendly and helpful. It is not a modern cookie cutter hotel or building. It is the Victorian era. It is not fancy in modern terms. The stairs are steep and narrow, they way they were done at the time it was built. I would like more lighting on them. Breakfasts were good and satisfying. I had plenty of hot water. ”

“The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. ”
