“We booked this beautiful home on the marsh of Harkers Island. The home is not only well stocked but decorated magazine worthy in coastal blues and rattan. Bedrooms have ceiling fans, laundry baskets, noise machines, and clocks where you can plug in phone chargers. Extra details were sprinkled throughout the house. The view from the deck was so serene. All 6 of us including my teens gravitated to the porch to eat breakfast and then watch the gorgeous sunsets. The house is also a short distance……

“This house is incredible! The host has stocked the house so well. Anything you need, she has already thought of it and placed it somewhere. The house felt like "home." She is a very responsive host and the home was very clean. We saw Dolphins from the balcony each morning. She even has binoculars to view them! Highly recommended this place. It is about a 10 minute drive from Atlantic Beach (which is beautiful more touristy and huge waves) and a 5 min drive from Radio Beach (inlet, no waves).……

Many people just pass through Harker's Island to take the ferry to Cape Lookout, but it's lovely as a destination if you want tranquility and quiet relaxation.There was a problem with the check-in: house wasn't cleaned or accessible when we arrived a couple of hours after check-in time.
