“Dirty towels (had to wash them), dirty kitchen pots & pans, holes in sheets. Old toiletries left in bathroom/shower and expired pantry items left in kitchen. Very old couches. No checkout instructions but we at least took out the garbage.”

“Very clean house- which was great! I was disappointed with the kitchen. The coffee maker leaked water and was missing a part - so it was NOT useable. The ice maker did not work and there were no trays to make ice for ourselves. The host was not as responsive as I would have liked. ”

“My husband and I a long with our 2 dogs had an extremely relaxing stay at the Comfy Creekside house. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked and organized as well as clean. Our dogs also wanted for nothing: extra bowls, bedding, and supplies. The fenced yard was great for them, and they also enjoyed wading in the Creek. Dayna even checked in on us, to make sure the dogs were happy in the yard. For me, most of my time was spent relaxing on the deck or the swing, reading and listening to the……

“Here for 2 nights during our little Virginia road trip over the holidays. This house was absolute heaven!!! It was so beautifully decorated for the holidays - perfect for 2 families. Beds were so comfy - extra towels for everyone! We will def be back!!!”

“Great older home on the west side of the city, well cared for and stocked. Great communication with the owner. You need to know it is on a very busy street, Loud traffic from 6am until 10pm everyday. The neighborhood is a bit dicey with homeless people sleeping on porches, stairs and sidewalks. People walking by asked for money, cigarettes and other things everyday. ”

“Had a great stay over Thanksgiving at this cozy hilltop cabin in the woods. The cabin came with a full kitchen setup for meal prep, and a nice woodstove for the cool nights. We saw wild turkey, deer, and a blackbear. Great location to check out some of the local State parks for some hiking and the National Forests. My only complaint is the proximity to the freeway, with the traffic, but otherwise great location.”

“This is a great property for a large group. All 4 bedrooms are separate and private. There's plenty of space to stretch out, the kitchen is large and well equipped, and the location is close enough to town that necessities are easily accessible. ”

“My husband and boys have stayed here 3 years in a row to kayak and fish on the James River. They like the camping feel with a bed for my husband's back. They always enjoy it.”
