“Lovely cottage on Bay of Fundy. We loved to see how the tide changes twice a day. The decor was so nice inside and out. Lovely garden and front porch with a bbq. Very clean and had everything we needed. There is a couple local take-out restaurants in the area which were great! If you want a fancier sit down restaurant you will have to drive 35 mins to one of the local towns. Its a very quiet lobster fishing town where we bought some fresh lobster one day right off the boat next door to us.……

“Lovely cottage besides a beautiful lake. Near some hiking and rock hounding if that's what you care about. Clean. Nicely equipped. Lots of wood for fires. Absolute gem. Many many thanks to the owners”

“Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels……

“It is a wonderful place for nature, wildlife, and relaxation. The local town and area is great to explore and there are plenty of hiking trails to explore. I highly recommend this place. In addition, the hosts' attention to details shows in how the place is arranged and accommodated: lots of little settle touches that make you comfortable and "vacationy"! ”

“We absolutely adored our stay here on Duck Cove Rd. Everything was nearly perfect from the sunrises to the beautiful porch and even the comfy beds. If you crave a little solitude in a beautiful setting in DownEast, Maine, you should consider staying here. ”

“I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). Later she emailed me saying that because I was only registered for 2 she was charging my card an extra fee. Sure enough when I checked my card was charged again. I didn’t mind paying for the extra. I really had thought……

“We had a nice relaxing stay! Weather was amazing with lots of nice views of the ocean. Seals came every day just off the coast and lost of bird activity. Would stay here again! ”
