“We've stayed here several times. Its always clean, the staff and management is nice. I stay in hotels a lot for my job, its just nice to show up an known its going to be clean and everything is going to go smoothly. “This was our first stop on a 14 hour journey from Florida to Virginia to find our forever home. We had no idea where we were going, ended up two and a half hours through the Western Virginia mountains ... In the dark... I'm the rain! But then thru the mountain mist, shown the Beautiful bright lights of The Gateway Motel! I would have loved to stay longer. The owner was amazing, friendly and inviting. “My husband and I stayed here for a week visiting our daughter. The property was clean and cozy. It had all the amenities we needed for the two of us. We worked remotely for a week and had very few problems. We did lose power once but we just went to a coffee shop (Lizzie B’s) which was a nice change of scenery. We did have some trouble finding it once we made the turn on the road (second house on the right) as it was dark and we didn’t have cell service. Cindy and her husband were so friendly……
