KINGS END - Modern, spacious house

Designed for one or more families to enjoy, this comfortable split-level home sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. A vast open plan living/kitchen/dining area with 4.5 metre ceilings is at the heart of this home with double height windows providing amazing light and views. The large kitchen comes fully equipped and includes a 900mm oven and stove top, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and an island bench with seating. The living/ dining area has leather couches, a flat screen TV, Foxtel, wood fire heater and a dining table for 8.

The upper level on the east side of the home has the Master bedroom (King size bed) with ensuite and a study with books and games, both overlooking the State forest. The west end of the house has three more bedrooms (2 x queen size beds and 1 x single bunks) that share a large family bathroom, with a bath. A porta-cot is also provided (no linen). The second living area is at this end of the house with a 50-inch flat screen TV, Foxtel, DVD/Blu-ray and PlayStation and selection of DVDs/games provided. Year around heating and cooling is provided by split systems throughout the house. The laundry is equipped with a front loader washing machine and sensor dryer.

Both living areas have double glass doors that open to the north-facing elevated deck that runs the length of the house with views to the surrounding mountains. A BBQ along with outdoor seating and small outdoor table/chairs make this a great entertaining space. The backyard is fully fenced and landscaped.

A beautiful, quiet part of town with easy access to forest walks and only 1km from the town centre.
Please note this house is child/family friendly but has multiple flights of stairs which may make it unsuitable for very young children.

Marysville Getaway
We loved the house, but noticed in other reviews just minor things that could be better including sliding door is very hard to close and lock. Dog hair on outdoor furniture. Backyard garden was very overgrown and in need of maintenance. We had to duck under small trees to walk on the path and the grass needed whipper snippering. The master bed was incredibly comfortable but the leather fabric was flaking on the bed and it’s well passed it’s used by date.

Stunning house didn’t want to leave
Beautiful placed property with mountain views. The set out of rooms was wonderful, plenty of space with private areas for adults and kids to have their own areas and a large communal area when everyone wanted to come together. Wish we could have stayed for longer .

Lovely house
Had a great stay at Kings End. Nice big airy property with lovely outlook. For our group of two families it would have been more handy to have two singles in another room instead of a Queen so the kids didn’t have to share a bed. We didn’t bring our old dog but it’s a super dog friendly place with lots of bowls left out for guests and a good fenced yard. Letting agents (Professionals Marysville) were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Poor management
Beautiful, comfortable house. Our stay was tarnished by the lack of care in maintenance of the house. There was no gas in either of the gas bottles for the bbq. There was no kitchen wettex/chux to wipe benches and tables. There was less than 1cm of dishwashing liquid. All this was compounded by everything being closed on Good Friday. When you pay for a premium home and plan to care for it as you would for your own home it is disappointing to find so many gaps.

House was very spacious and clean. Very comfortable with lovely views and privacy. Couldn't really fault anything other than the water pressure is not the best, not that this is in anyone's control. Still wouldn't deter us from staying here again.

Great location and lovely house however, the kitchen was dirty. Oven hadn’t been cleaned and main bathroom shower could use a scrub too.

Definitely met expectations
6 adults and 1 2yo child. This was an annual Christmas family getaway 3 day weekend. We loved the house. The only thing that dissapointed our stay, was the amount of dog hair on the rugs/floor and outdoor furniture. We also began the BBQ to find the gas bottle was empty and we had to go and swap it over. Otherwise, very spacious, great view, close to shops, Stephenson water Fall, Lake Mountain and Buxton trout farm. 40 mins drive to Eildon. Great location for a getaway.

Excellent house surrounded by nature
Incredible house that easily catered for 3x couples and 3x kids under 3. Warm, inviting, comfortable home with stunning views from all rooms. The fire and gardens were a highlight along with the views sitting on back deck. Very minor improvements in terms of more bin bags amd blinds in bedrooms. However the house had little amenities in the kitchen and laundry to get you by. Even pet food/water bowls. They have really thought of everyone at Kings End. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy the picturesque Marysville

Outstanding property in forest surrounds
This accommodation was perfectly suited for 8 adults for a long weekend of relaxing. The house plan is very spacious and the 2 living zones add flexibility. The house & kitchen is perfectly equipped with all you could need. We loved the forest views from every angle inside the house. We really appreciated the ample supply of redgum for the fireplace which was kept blazing the whole weekend. Heating/cooling in all the rooms is thoughtful. We'd definitely come back here. It's wonderful to see Marysville busy and back to life.
