It was unique but there are things that need to be upgraded and/or fixed. I felt like the floor in my room was going to give in some spots. The restaurant and downstairs nar was nice. Getting the carpet in the hotel professionally cleaned wouldnt hurt. The place was ok. It was not worth the price they charged.

This hotel had so much charm from it's historic roots. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. There were various "nooks and crannies" throughout the hotel that you could use for small or larger conversations. The gift shop had a good variety of Frank Lloyd Wright-themed merchandise.

A beautiful restoration of a Frank Lloyd Wright building. It would be nice to enjoy a breakfast in the hotel. There is a restaurant on property. We walked 3 blocks for coffee.... very disappointing.

This is the only place I stay at in Mason City. Each room is a little different (my favorite layouts are the odd number rooms on the second floor) The rooms are big enough to walk around and have a few suitcases. You can walk to get any meal or drink. Parking is super easy and in front or along side the hotel. The staff are always nice and willing to help. I love the history and design.

Historisk!

- Det eneste hotellet tegnet av Frank Lloyd Wright som fortsatt er i drift! Det var hva som fikk oss til å legge reisen innom Mason City. Bygningen, med vesentlige tredetaljer som fortsatt består, var ferdigstilt i 1910. Vi tenkte dette ville bli mer morsomt enn komfortabelt, men full score på begge. Uforglemmelig opphold!
