“Traveled w/a group who have all recently retired. The cottage and surroundings were beautiful and tranquil. Everything was up to date and the decor was perfect. We were comfortable whether we were sitting on the patio or gathering inside, Aine was very helpful and informative. A short drive into Westport, which is a fun town. We highly recommend staying at Oakleaf Cottage.intoWestport.”

“Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. ”

“The location and the property were both superb... Mary the owner ought to be cloned for every B&B. She was THE BEST....loved our interactions with her. “Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. We will definately return to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage, that is for sure! Derek Hanley, and family Dublin.”

“Good overall but with 2 caveats.Had dinner one of the nights and as a couple where put on a very small table with no room no table cloth and poor quality of food .eat out would be my advice.2nd caveat paid for a deluxe room and ended with a disabled room which had small room but massive disabled toilet.”

“Lovely hotel. Easy free parking if staying at hotel. Dunnes, Next Tesco, McDonald's all a few min walk away. Lost of Bars and restaurants close by. We had breakfast in the hotel and it was really tasty. Staff are very friendly, especially the guy on the reception in the evenings, he recommended a few pubs for us to try with music. We were really lucky as the weather was beautiful but The rooms got a bit stuffy and I didn't realise I could turn down the heating at the radiator in the room till……
