“Everything was as advertised.The Bach is small, but our family of 5 managed just fine, the kids loved the bunk room, and being away from us.Downside was the way the place is set up with furniture. It would be fantastic if the single bed in the main cabin was actually a sofa bed, as it's not really that comfortable to sit on in the evenings.The kitchen has a weird old dresser as a pantry, shelves would be better, and the huge dresser in the bedroom is just to big, a low boy would be an……

“Peaceful quiet lovely setting ”

“This was our second stay in about 3 years. Arrived to a warm house equipped as described and had a pleasant weekend”

“This is a very clean and comfortable place, with lots for kids to do inside or out, and walking distance from the shops and cafes. The cricket set and bikes were a highlight, and especially the tandem bike. We'd happily return.While pets are allowed with prior permission (we had a small dog with us), note the section is not fully fenced.”

“Had a great girls weekend in Marti with this as home base. Plenty of wood for the fires which kept us toasty and a lovely location right next to Palliser. Everything you need and more. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, lots of towels and blankets. ”

“We had the perfect base for our Martinborough visit. The bed was super comfortable, great shower and lots of hot water. Very well equipped with everything. Loved the space and inside/outside balance. 'Hot' tub (because we dialled the temperature down,) was a great relaxer at the end of a day of exploring and walking. We would happily stay again. Few things needed attention but property agents responsive to contact.”

“This is a beautiful home which unfortunately is not being as well maintained as it should be. In spite of that we had a lovely time and enjoyed the peace and serenity. The grounds are lovely and the pool looked great. Just a shame the weather wasn’t better for us to enjoy. This would be an ideal place to host a family get together with plenty of room for the grandkids too. Definitely good value for money.”
