“A lovely spot with pretty view of the lake. It is a bit out of the way, but if you have a vehicle the peacefulness of the location is worth a longer drive. Well equipped with back up towels and kitchen supplies. Vast windows bring the outside in - pretty bird song and every morning we were visited by a small flock of very polite California Quail.”

“Our two week stay for a family of four at Lake Tarawera was fantastic! The deck lake view is absolutely stunning, and the setting is peaceful. We spent time at the lake taking a dip or lounging on the deck. The house has plenty of space, perfect for family time or finding a quiet spot to relax. The giant deck is a highlight, offering a great place to take in the surroundings. Would definitely recommend it! You need a car to get to Rotoura etc. we enjoyed walking to various lake swim spots for……

“The property is in need of a little bit of TLC, deck nails sticking up causing injury, kayaks in a very unclean condition.Overall a very nice place, just needs a bit of TLC/maintenance for the price point of the place.”
