“Black and White Retreat was just perfect for us with all amenities we needed. Clean, comfortable (great, comfy bed). Great location, quiet and only a short, flat walk to the beach and even quicker to the boat ramp. Great outdoor spaces which was wonderful for when the family arrived for a beach day and accommodated 11 of us for a pre dinner drink really easily. Playground just up the road for the grandchildren...perfect. Host Sue is lovely making us feel welcome and very comfortable. Will be……

“Great stay overall, location was good. We went to the Matakana market and Tāwharanui Regional Park, both within 20min of the bach. Only thing to be aware of is there are no tea towels, toilet paper, shower needs, etc. so have to prepare a little bit more to bring all you need for your stay. Otherwise, great stay and would stay again!”
