“The hosts were bery helpful, the property could have been alot cleanier as well as inside the home. There were spider webs, all corners and behind furniture was not clean and extrenely dusty. The outdoors can really use a clean up as well as some bug control, there were a ton of bugs. We walked around with no socks and our feet were black after 5 minutes. Overall it was nice, there is absolutley no service for 30 minutes each way. Listing could be alittle more accurate. We thought we”

“Irene's house is a total gem. It is so secluded - truly no other houses anywhere near it. There's a ton of cool features, like two BBQ grills, a fire pit, an awesome patio, and the interior of the house is well laid out as well, with several beds and two separated hangout areas. Communication with Irene was simple and seamless, always swift responses when we had questions. Finally, the location is really optimal. It's deep in the woods and you feel like you're completely alone in the best way……

“It was a magical Father’s Day weekend at the lake cabin. I surprised my husband so he can go fishing on the lake and he had a blast. We traveled with our 14 month old baby and it was a great place for him as well. The living room is large and open and he was able to run around and play with his toys. The cabin was super clean and accommodating, perfect for our family of three. The view is beautiful and calming. Communication with the host was fast. I give it 5 stars! ”

“We stayed at this retreat in the woods for a 3 day concert run at Bethel Woods. It was clean, quite & close to the venue. The yard was huge and we spent lots of time at the fire pit. Our favorite beach on the Delaware River was only 12 minuets away so we spent our days river side. Plenty of parking and the host was very helpful with our questions. We will definitely be rebooking!”

“Our family had a very nice stay at Lake Haven. We saw deer every single day, plus squirrels, birds, raccoons, mink, and turtles. We loved sitting on the lakeside "deck" (it's not quite a dock as it does not extend over the water like most docks do). The house is nicely appointed and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, glassware, etc. The downstairs beds seemed to roll around, but I suppose our older kids may toss & turn in their sleep. “We absolutely loved Debra's place! It was the perfect setting for a weekend getaway. The cabin was well adorned and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing Lake Wallkill community. We felt like we were immersed in nature but at the same time we're close to Mountain Creek resort for biking and many stores/great restaurants. Being right next to the lake was great for enjoying sunrises and sunsets too and it was a quick walk from the front door. Debra was an outstanding host-her……

“Great spot with river view, lovely wooden interior for cozy cabin feel. Wood stove for a nice evening by the fire, but modern heating. Well appointed kitchen. Hot tub fantastic. Fire pit looks awesome but didn’t get to use. On a scenic road along the Delaware, 10 mins to port jervis restaurants and bowling alley memory lanes. Milford worth the trip, great Main Street walkable shopping. Raymondskills falls was cool. Nice owners very easy to communicate. To turn the shower on, pull the little knob……
