“Willow Ridge is a fabulous country house perfectly situated just outside Bristol. From here you can explore the whole area easily including Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge caves, Bath, Glastonbury and Weston-super-mare and more. “It didn’t go as expected. The room doesn’t appear as how it was on the app. There was this strong smell in the room that made it very uncomfortable and not accommodating at all. Only two bathrooms for 10 rooms is unacceptable. U pleasant at all so I checked out yesterday around 3pm instead of today. We only spent one night and that’s because of the nature of the place. It’s not safe to be there. There is only two bathroom for the ten rooms here and due to that we had to climb like three floors……

"Hotel is quite new in comparison with other International brand hotels in that area. Comfortable bed, room nice and clean. Within walking distance to CBD and tourist area. However, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night around 1:30am and we learned the next day that it’s a fire drill. That’s totally ridiculous to me. I’ve travelled around the world in the past 50 yrs and never came across any hotel like this. The fire alarm woke all hotel guests without prior notice nor explanation on site. Guests including myself needed to run around to check out what’s happening. Hope they never ever do this again. We’re extremely tired after a whole day’s travelling and desperately needed a good night’s sleep. "
