“We made a great choice in choosing the Riverfront Retreat for our Thanksgiving celebration. The large dining table fit our group and its close proximity to the kitchen made serving and cleanup a breeze. One bedroom is set apart from the others which worked perfectly for one couple who ducked out at 5am to catch a flight out of Dulles (about an hours drive) without disturbing others in the group. We enjoyed hiking in Seven Bends State Park and even toured the Shenandoah Caverns (a short drive).……

“Our family had a great time at Cliffside Falls over Thanksgiving. The house was terrific…roomy and clean, with every amenity, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of games and activities for all. The hikes to the falls were amazing and a spectacular sight we will long remember. Rick was also a very welcoming host, and kept us informed all along the way. We would highly recommend and love to return!”

We enjoyed seeing sooo many stars in the sky from the warmth of the hot tub on a cold Winter's night. We enjoyed quiet reading with HOT coffee (a luxury when a mom of littles), while enjoying the scenic mountainscape from the giant east-facing window.
