“What a lovely place to stay. Very nice garden and people. Very pretty part of town. Room was small but delightfully decorated and lovely view of garden. Had a bit of trouble working out the shower temp but eventually got it right! ”

“We had a long weekend in Starling cottage. It was peaceful, quaint, comfortable and clean. It was a good base to explore the local area and visit our friends in Neath. I would definitely return. ”

“My family stayed in the property for over a month, while we explored Wales and visited some friends in the Swansea area. The small village up in the mountains was absolutely beautiful, and the check in process was simple with a lock box and independent arrival time. Lorna was responsive when we had questions and had reccomendations for exploring the area and restaurants.Anyone staying should plan on topping up the electric and gas immediately. “The property is in a beautiful location, the views from the garden are incredible. The facilities are all as mentioned, the hot tub was well maintained and a real luxury. The property wasn’t the cleanest, but in a rural location in great weather we didn’t spend much time on the house. The gardens are great and the land around is all accessible along with the animals on the farm. There are a few other properties in the same location and you have a neighbour directly next door to the farm……

“Great location, near promenade and beach, within 15 minutes walking to city centre and Swansea attractions.”

“The communication at check-in was excellent. The house is on a secluded space set back from the road. It is quite small but fine for a single traveller or couple. The bedroom is a very good size with a decent shower room en-suite. It is warm and the kitchen is well equipped in the main. I notice a number of people have said the bed was comfortable but I would say if you have neck or back issues it may not be ideal.
