“I found this property when we had to move out earlier than planed for renovation works to our house. On arrival we were all stunned at the beauty on the gardens , the wild life, the fact we appear to be the only guests. Staff were amazing as i had 1 night were we had no where to staff, and staff were able to accommodate us. If you are looking for peace tranquillity i would highly recommend this place. “I booked this home for my husbands 30th surprise. The house is ideal for gatherings as there is no one for miles to disturb. This property can be seen from the road and looks amazing. “We were booked in to no. 9 but moved as we had been doubled booked. No. 2 Apartment described as recently refurbished - bathroom has not been updated in 20 plus years. Upon speaking to Donnini - refurbishment means a new settee and table & chairs in the kitchen! Apartment was not clean - marks on bedding, cobwebs in the lampshades, carpet disgusting, kitchen floor and the wall to the side of the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time! No acknowledgment from the management team in terms……

“A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find.”

“Beautifully decorated comfortable chic home and the sofa bed is full size double & comfy. Only downside is it’s not that practical if you plan to cook all your meals in the flat. No cupboard space for groceries, kitchen pots etc are in the bedroom, couldn’t find a frying pan. Was easier to eat out or get takeaways. Bathroom is of high standard but tight on space with no where to put a wash bag or makeup bag or even a toothbrush. Also I would suggest owner puts a proper door on the side room……

“Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage.”
