“Close to kayak and canoe rentals.”

“My Husband and I booked a 3 night break. Everything we needed was provided. We ate in The 7 Horseshoes, food was fabulous. We also went to the Castle Bar, live music on the Saturday night and had a great evening. ”

“I can not review this property fairly. I can review the Host which were awesome. There was an issue with the original property. Jody and John were able to make alternative accommodations for us. We were very pleased. It was in the same location, which you definitely need a vehicle for. We were able to visit many areas from here with ease. Communication was excellent, would rent again. ”

Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). There was also a coffee maker and there were coffee pods supplied which my wife made full use of! And there was a proper tea pot supplied and backup tea bags were available. “Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay.”

“We loved the ruralness of the property but also the close proxmity to Roosky for shops and local bars. The property itself was very clean and well presented with everything provided that we could possibly need or want.We felt conpletely at home. The cottage was very homely. “Lovely cabin in the woods, came with all the little extras you often don't think to pack (e.g. towels, condiments, cleaning products, books, DVDs, toys, baby equipment etc). Can't help but relax here, especially on the veranda in the evening, which has a patio heater if needed. No wifi & 6km from town meant my kids aged 15, 13 & 4, took to exploring the woods, finding frogs, playing games, watching DVDs with family while 'home'. Conveniently located within a short distance from many outdoor……

“We only stayed one night as part of our tour of Ireland and wished it could have been for longer. Room was wonderful, very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with excellent variety/ quality available to choose from. Grounds were absolutely stunning. Took advantage of one of the walking trails available in the extensive grounds. Could have spent all day in the peaceful and beautiful surroundings but unfortunately we had to get off on our next leg of our trip. If ever find ourselves……

“Such a beautiful view and we loved the lambs and the donkey, Jack. Our bed in our room was a bit uncomfortable, but our other traveling companions said their bed was good. We really enjoyed breakfast and appreciated that the host took good care of us even though she had something unexpected come up. We had a lovely visit! ”
