“A positive for this home is its location. Negative for this place is its location. It’s great because you can walk to restaurants, bars, museums, and the river. The negative about the location is that it’s right on a busy highway. Less than 10 feet from the road. Unfortunately loud construction was also being done right across the highway. The host was very accommodating to our needs. They were able to program our heating system from their phone as we could not make any changes on the property..……

“We loved this house! It's older, but well kept up and very charming! We had a group of 12, and there was plenty of sleeping room. Its a very short walk to downtown Hannibal, so we didn't have to drive anywhere. We enjoyed the shops, museums, restaurants/bars, riverboat, and the ghost tour, and we walked everywhere! Would definitely stay here again with a large group! We didn't have any issues, so we didn't communicate with the host, Barry, during our stay, but he was a great communicator,……

“Great house for a getaway with childhood friends. Roomy home. Beautifully decorated. Everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Driveway fits 4 cars. Large backyard. (Raining, so we didn't get to use the firepit). ”

“My family and I were there for my sons college graduation and the location was perfect..close to campus. The house is just adorable and we had plenty of space for our family of 4 there.”

“The house is very cute and extremely clean and decorated very tastefully. The host left a package of danishes from the local bakery, which was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was so cozy. This however is not a home for someone who has mobility issues. The issues we had were as follows1) bathtub - HIGH step in to the pedestal tub could be a challenge for some - our friend literally fell out of the tub. Luckily she had piled all of her personal items on the toliet so……

“The inside of the property was wonderful. Perfect for what we needed. Great dining room table for games. Two comfortable couches for chatting on. Beds a little too soft for my husband. OK for me. Nice and close to downtown. Only negative was the neighborhood was a little run down and there was broken glass on the sidewalk.”
