The Pool House

This place is the perfect hangout for a summers stay!

Get your own private pool in a spacious 3 bedroom house right in the heart of McAllen! Doesn’t get more central than this!

2 queen beds, 1 king and 2 queen blow up mattress can accommodate a nice large group to stay comfortably.

The pool is SO refreshing on a hot day and it’s DEEP! They don’t make them deep enough for diving boards anymore so if you can swim, bust out those floaties!

The pool is 9.5ft deep with a small shadow end. Swim at your own risk.

Came into town for a family reunion with my mom, dad, brother and all the kids. The house was in a great location to anything you would need, and in a great, quiet neighborhood. The house was just right for all of us. The kids loved the pool, and we loved the outdoor space to sit and watch them. Would definitely stay again.

Family Vacation

The home was big and spacious. Very clean and decorated very cute and welcoming. I loved the cute little touches like the coffee station. The corner desk if you have to work while you’re in town. As well as the games to have family night. Has everything you need to prepare your meals including a grill so you can sit poolside and BBQ with family. The pool was incredible and refreshing, we absolutely loved our stay. The host was so attentive and easy to communicate with. I would 100% recommend this home if your in town.

Good communication with host. Easy check in and out. No BS items to do before leaving like taking out the trash. Love that. Place definitely could have been cleaner though!

Get away stay

Overall the stay was good but there were some issues with broken things example the door knob to the back yard kept falling off the deck and the ramp near the pool was a little dangerous from warped boards and the back gate was falling over when you opened it and the pool could have been cleaned more other than the first two days But overall the house was comfortable and clean 😊 and the host responded efficiently when contacted Thank you

The pool house.

The house is an amazing place, near to the shopping centers, mall and the airport but inside the house needs care, the kitchen is old, the drawers paint were peeling. Also the patio floor and around the pool was dirty but the pool was clean. Also the yard needs landscaping care too, the grilled is very old, rusty. In the garage we find some dead roaches. Finally the house pictures need updated because their pictures look very different how to show in the website.

Great location, lovely house, and super responsive owner

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. Even though it was winter, we had a quick and refreshing dip in the deep pool. Amanda was so gracious and responded to all messages really quickly, which was very helpful. The coffee bar was a cute touch, and we loved the spacious outdoor seating area. Plus, the neighborhood was quiet, and a beautiful park was within walking distance. The only drawbacks: 2 of the beds were not very comfortable for me (though my husband had no problems with them), we had to request the WiFi info, and the screened-in patio looked like it needed to be swept and mopped. Fortunately, none of this impacted our visit too much. Overall, this is a nice house with a lot of thoughtful amenities and a convenient location. Thank you again!

Perfect getaway!

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay. The house was amazing, very well done and spacious. It felt like being at home. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs. Its also super close to everything for entertainment and restaurants. We will be back!

Mini vacation

Our stay at this home was very comfortable,the house was spacious and very clean.I had no problem with getting in contact with the owner. The pool was great the kids enjoyed it.The only issue was there were some spiders on the patio and lots of webs on the chairs, but definitely would rent there again.

Great house

The house was lovely. It was very clean and well kept. It is clear that this is a VRBO house, and no one lives here. The kitchen was bare basics, but there was plenty of cookware and dishes. What was really nice was the outdoor patio area. They even had extra tables and chairs, which was perfect when the entire family showed up for Sunday dinner. The kids loved the pool and it was a good size. This house definitely worked for us. Oh - and the property manager was super responsive when we had trouble accessing the front door when we got there. She reset the code in minutes and we were in. Great stay!

We enjoyed the home however the lawn and shrubs were over grown. And we never got the Tv to connect.

Property owner was very helpful. We had a small family gathering at the home and neighbors called the cops on us saying we were too loud. The next day we had to clean up and pop balloons and again the neighbors called the cops on us. Over all besides the above info the home was so cozy and clean! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Now pool house

My dad is in memory care and come to mcallen/Edinburg area quite often, when traveling with family we like houses rather than hotels; this property has great promise and would stay again; these are the needed improvements. No mirror in the master bathroom, very limited kitchen supplies would suggest wine glasses, cutting boards, baking sheets, non breakable tumblers for the pool area, mixing bowls and an adequate coffee maker in the kitchen area; the backyard needed quite a bit of tender loving care as there were cigarette butts , beer can tops and over grown grass; pool was nice but filtration system needs help; like I mentioned earlier these are minor issues that I am positive will be addressed
