“Hidden Valley has been our spring trip each year. This is the second year at this location. It is by far the best choice. First, Mark is a great host. He communicates all information needed in a timely manner and follows up with answers to any questions. The location of his place provided the perfect "home base" for our group. A group hiked the trails in Linn Run, L.Hill, and other trails. Others fished the local trout streams. We used it as launch point for Ligonier, F.L.Wright related sites.……

“Finch House is a wonderful property. The location right beside a stream is peaceful. All of the light switches are labeled!! That is a level of detail much appreciated. The entire aesthetic of the home was perfect. I coild have sat for hours outside on the patio or the sheltered shed porch. Thank you John and Kathleen for such a pleasant stay. Definitely "exceptional".P.S. As someone who grew up in Westmoreland County, I have always loved the town of Ligonier!”

“Our family had a wonderful weekend here of playing games, pool tournaments, and football. We loved the cabin vibe at this property. It is very spacious, incredible views, and close to the resort. The driveway is a little tricky if snow covered. We found that it was probably best not to attempt until it was salted even with 4WD, but the owner quickly had plow truck come and clear for us. My only complaint would be the mattresses/pillows could be upgraded in some of the rooms. ”

“We loved our long weekend at Mountain Memories! The snow fell, and the skiing at Hidden Valley just steps from the door was perfect for our multi-family group! We parked our cars for the weekend and could access anything we needed on Skis! The house was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed - towels, sheets, kitchen supplies. The ski room was a great space to keep all our gear with plenty of benches, hooks and dryers for our gear. The two living spaces were a bonus so the older kids……

“The house was great although we ended up as a much smaller group than anticipated. We intially planned the trip as a halfway point between the Stonycreek festival in Johnstown and the Lower Yough at the Ohiopyle State Park. Most of our club (ADK Whitewater Paddlers) group decided not to make the trip after the heavy rains of last week raised the difficulty level of the local rivers. The few of us that stayed found the house to be clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and to have a homey feel. ”
