“We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. “The home is situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood with trees and flowering bushes about. Upon entering the home, one was struck by its simple elegance. We've stayed at many rented homes and this one by far had the best kitchen ware, which made cooking for our family a dream! The beds were comfortable and bathrooms (with full baths) were gorgeous! “This was an excellent getaway near historic Folsom. We stayed 5 nights. Even though it's part of a duplex, only the garages connect, so you never hear the neighbors. One of the living room windows looks out to one of the nicer historic homes. The location was perfect to branch out to surrounding areas. As for the house itself, pretty much everthing you needed was available. (We loved the Keurig Duo!) As mentioned in the description, only 2 blocks from the historic Main street. You can walk down……
