“We enjoyed beautiful weather during our long weekend away from home just reconnecting with nature and family. We enjoyed all that the cabin offers, hot tub, stream, kayaks, fire pit and rocking chairs. It is a bit off the beaten path but that is what we were looking for as we got away. Even when a severe storm rolled through the hosts had someone come out early in the morning to get a generator running for us. I highly recommend this cabin if you are looking to disconnect and relax in nature……

“Perfect getaway. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The house was completely stocked and clean. The river is a few steps out the door. It rained the entire time so we didnt fish much. The host susan went above and beyond. If you're looking to be off grid this is the place for you. We are already planning our next trip(we plan to stay a lot longer next time. ”

“Direct and to the point. My wife and I travel quite a bit and generally stay in VRBO‘s this place is the nicest that we have ever stayed in. It’s very modern and the attention to detail amazes me. This is the second time we’ve stayed there and I’m taking pictures and notes as it’s going to help me build the cottage we want to build for ourselves. Highly recommend this location. “This was the perfect romantic birthday weekend cabin! We originally planned to camp at Cowans Gap State Park but changed our minds when we found out there was a fire ban state wide.
