“Wonderful place to stay just minutes from downtown Chattanooga. The best check-in experience ever. Right when we pulled up a lady came out to meet us and took us right up to our room. The room was spacious and clean. They also had complimentary breakfast and coffee. I highly recommend stay here. ”

“There was nothing wrong with the room itself. However, they did not send the gate code ahead of time as promised. When I arrived on site during their business hours no one was there and the place was locked up. I tried calling, but no one picked up and there was no voice mail message. Fortunately, while I was working with Expedia to try to get my money back, they did finally return my call and gave me the information I needed. “Slept poorly due to combination of a "smart" thermostat that was apparently determined to blow cold air as much as it could, and blankets that were inadequate to insulate us against the icy breeze. We ended up running the heater, even though autumn temps wouldn't need it, and the darned thermostat ran cold air whenever it wasn't heating. We were just passing through and would have sorted it out with the owners if we weren't pressed for time. Almost certainly, it would have been a fixable……

“Bluewater Resort has it all. Wonderful clean cottage with full kitchen & all amenities. We rented a boat slip with electric to plug in daily. We were on the water 10 hours a day, the fishing spots are endless. In our many travels throughout TVR, this is the best location. The staff, where do I begin. Rachel is a gem, a bubbly ray of light & a wealth of info! Everyone was beyond friendly. Conversation, fishing tackle, gas & snacks right at the store. Wish we would never have to leave but……
