“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Immaculate cabin with all the amenities included. Denali is visible from the front porch on a clear day. It is dark enough to see the northern lights in the front yard, as well. Would absolutely stay here again! ”

“We loved our stay here. Despite some initial concerns over it being a dry cabin, we both ended up loving this accommodation over all the ones we stayed during our two week trip in AK. It definitely will one of our most memorable and it was a great “off grid” experience. It was an inviting space; cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. Emily and Ritchie have put a lot of thought and consideration into everything a guest might need. It got down to a chilly and windy 30 degrees the nights……

“Yes, it's a rustic cabin with a pit toilet, just as described. Cute, remote little cabin in the woods. The heater kept us warm, there was plenty of hot water and water pressure, and lots of space. Plenty of kitchen implements, dishes, silverware and glasses were provided. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the bedding arrangement, with a top sheet, and light and heavier blankets. Lights and insulation were provided in the pit toilet. One small thing: please replace the knobs on the……

“The lower rating 4/5 is due to the driveway area on the property which is rough but everything else was great. Partner and I stayed for 4 night. Place was exactly as it said- just right for 4 wonderful days in Denali. Host’s stepdaughter and friend were amazingly helpful for local tips, moose watching, northern lights and blueberries- we saw it all! Place was ideal for long days away and having a comfy bed and hot shower. Would love an electric skillet but everything else was well thought out……

“Loved the privacy and assess to Denali. The home was well stocked for anyone flying into the area. Beautiful views from the wrap around porch. The bedroom situation for 4 single adults was not ideal with one on the sofa sleeper for 2 nights. Not a problem for our short stay, but would have needed more space for a week. ”
