“Our family had a beautiful stay. Plenty of bedrooms so everyone had a little privacy, but tons of spaces to come together and play. The location was surprisingly close, withing 10mins, to Lead/Deadwood, and a great spot to start from when exploring Spearfish Canyon. Everything went well and as expected. We certainly plan to stay here again.”

“It was such a beautiful space. I loved the views, the fire pit, the seclusion. THE DECK is gorgeous, we were able to hang outside no matter the weather. Extremely comfortable. The kitchen was easy to figure out, and the lighting at night is really easy going. You can see the stars when the sky is clear. It was honestly perfect. Nothing beats the view and the privacy.Couple things:The staircase is definitely treacherous. We left a light on at night in case anyone had to go back down, and I’m glad……

“This Cabin is very nice. Has everything we needed for quick ski trip. Large windows made for a beautiful view throughout thw home. The furnishings in the home were dusty. Kind of added to the rustic design; I suppose.The towels looked like on the towel racks but all had bleach spots on the underside. Whatever, it worked for us. I would come again. ”

“We had a very nice stay. Close to Lead/Deadwood. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with directions to the cabin. The host was very responsive and guided us there promptly!The kitchen has everything you need to make meals. Nice grill and outdoor areas. Hot tub was great to unwind in after a long day. We utilized washer and dryer. Only thing was basement smelled musty so the kids didn’t want to sleep there, but after emptying the dehumidifier and opening windows it aired out well. Overall: great……

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Sunset Ridge! The cabin and landscape are beautiful! The host was very helpful and answered questions quickly. One thing that was a bummer after we booked is that VRBO showed the location being 0.1 miles away from the main road and it was actually 5ish miles up a gravel road. Not a big deal had we not been on a motorcycle, but luckily the weather cooperates and it was still worth the trek. ”

“The cabin was just as advertised. Quiet neighborhood with deer as daily visitors. Missy was very responsive and pleasant. The cabin was very clean, and Missy provided easy to follow instructions. I also enjoyed the convenience of neighboring Deadwood. My only recommendation for improvement is to upgrade the mattresses. Overall, I would highly recommend renting the cabin. ”
