“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this brand new home at the base of Hatcher Pass! The house was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for relaxing.The location was perfect – just a short drive to the mountains. But we were able to go out our front door and go snow machining back to all the trails nearby. Was so much fun! Communication was great and the house is comfortable, cozy, and close to amenities in Eagle River. Odd Man Rush Brewpub around the corner is a local treasure. The neighborhood is walkable and friendly. Already looking forward to the next stay!”

“Great time!”

“We had such a lovely stay at this charming spot with a beautiful lake view! The space was perfect for families, with plenty of room for everyone to relax, including our little ones. My kids especially loved sledding down the hill to the lake—it was such a treat! Watching the neighbors’ fireworks display on the lake was magical and made for the perfect way to welcome the new year. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“We had a wonderful time at the villa! The cabin was well provisioned. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals as well as many staple foods that other vacationers have left (all products were still in date), as well as more than enough toilet paper and paper towels. “You walk in the front door and WOW! Everything is beautiful and luxurious, but comfy and homey. Easily comparable to 5-star hotels only so much better! Full kitchen with dining table for 4, roomy and comfy living room, luxurious bathroom and the 2 bedrooms were perfect for our party. One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in away from home! “We enjoyed staying at the Black Bear Abode. House was clean and very inviting. Heads up though, there are no washcloths and only a couple of towels in each bathroom. Also, we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy some. Beds were very soft and pillows were very thin. Just expected more for the cost we psid. ”

The living area & kitchen are a combined area so was cozy but not big enough for accommodating a large crowd. “We showed up late, around midnight. It was cold, freezing, and windy. We weren’t sure which of the two bungalows we got, so that could have been better communicated to us, but we luckily guessed right. The door code worked right away, and it was easy to get in. “Very clean and quiet I was very satisfied with the place in general except for one thing we were all very disappointed in the fact the description for this place said it had a jetted spa tub which there was but nothing said the jets were out until after checking in which that was a main factor in renting this specific place was for the jetted tub! Other then that nice place!”
