“Wonderful position with a view over the Derwent river. Squeezy parking and wouldnt cope with a large vehicle or a van. The road in would be difficult with a van and no area to turn around. No problems if youre just travelling in a car.”

“We told the host we would arrive after 6pm  in Nov and she was there greeting us as soon as we arrived. We liked the kitchen which got all the cooking wares but not sure if there is cooking oil or seasonings. The electric stove was slow to turn on. The host has provided the eggs, milk, tea bags, coffee and juice as well as bread in two sandwich boxes so we could prepare our breakfast. Everywhere in the house, kitchen and bathroom are clean. Laundry is free with washing powder.  We……

“We stayed for one night and took dinner and breakfast. It is a great home stay sharing travelling stories with other guests and learning about heritage of the farm. It is good to enjoy home style foods, plus endless supply of Tasmania beers and whisky. The cottage and room is clean and modern. Stay there if you pass by the area. ”
