“The property is exactly as advertised. Friendly goats and buddy the dog greeted us upon arrival. Very clean inside and fully stocked kitchen. The secret room was the absolute highlight of my kids stay. That is… until the hot tub. The grown up side was very comfortable. Master Bathroom door is translucent, with the toilet around a corner. but there is another bathroom for those who are not that married 🤓 the decorations are very cool. Almost like hidden treasures when you are not expecting it.……

“Rented this property for Memorial Day weekend to be within easy drive or Pedernales State Park, Balcones Wildlife Refuge and the local wineries in the area. As the review title states....this experience was a mixed bag. I can't say there was good and bad, rather there was good and somewhat frustrating......but not bad. The Good: Property is definitely unique. Very clever setup and we didn't feel cramped being just the two of us and two small dogs Appliances are new and the hotplate and toaster……

“We had such a good time. We enjoyed the view of the lake, amenities, meeting the deer and getting to know them up close. They are kind of quiet though but very friendly…... We will for sure come back again. ”

“The decor and layout is great! My mom and I will be back again next year. I especially loved the view from patio. The bed is comfortable but firm (not in bad way). I had no issues sleeping. The shower is unusually small but we made it work. And there is a tub if you prefer. My only complaint is the couch. It is broken and not a comfy spot to chill. I let the owner know so they can get it repaired. We will back next year for sure. ”
