We also enjoy shooting at the sporting clay range. They have shotguns to rent and shells. The small hotel-style refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven are just enough to get by for basic meals. “This was such a great getaway for the weekend. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hosts were easy to contact and answered all my questions. Great way to learn about living off grid, showering in an outdoor stall and using a composting toilet. If you need to keep some food cold or frozen I suggest bringing some ice. They provided a small cooler. Overall great experience.”

The only things were the remote in the bedroom for the main light/fan had dead batteries and there were no AAA batteries in the beehive we could locate - which is the smallest complaint because the entire location was EXACTLY as advertised and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again and I will be recommending this to my friends and family. ”

Also, we made friends with the neighbors' turkey Arnold. Which was quite the surprise to meet such an approachable turkey. It was hard for him to say goodbye...he appeared at the doorway later that day.”
