“I cannot say enough good things about this property from all the wonderful surprises (stocked coffee bar, complimentary toiletries, plenty of towels for a family of 5) to it being even more spacious than the pictures made it seem! Overall, this was the perfect getaway as we spent a couple days enjoying the backyard and water and then spent a couple days sight seeing making the about 2 hour drive into DC and the short 20 minute drive to Washington's birthplace right in Montross. The water view and sunsets were amazing. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable and the host did a great job of stocking the house with everything we needed. “Easthaven is such a fun, family place to stay while on vacation. Clean, well equipped, relaxing and family oriented. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, crabbing, visiting West Moreland State Park and the quant surroundings. The house has everthing needed for family fun and special time together.The dophins in the bay at sunrise and the scavenger hunt were nice, fun family surprises! ”

“We had a short stay after a sporting event in DC, it was a little less than an hour away. Convenient location and a very clean house. Kitchen was well stocked. There was little communication with the owner, which was nice vs a long list of rules, but we would have liked to know any of their local specific favorite spots or more detailed check in/check out.
