If you’re looking to stay close to Provenza for nightlife, restaurants, and shopping malls, this location is great for that. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the security staff was super friendly—just like practically every Colombian you’ll meet, haha!
That said, there were some drawbacks. Despite the building not being next to any bar or club, there was a lot of noise at night, either from other rooms or loudspeakers outside the building. I had to use earplugs to get some sleep. The shower drain was clogged, which was inconvenient. Inside the apartment, adding a bedside lamp would make a big difference. Right now, there’s only a ceiling light, so it’s either full light or total darkness, which makes it hard if one person wants to sleep and the other wants to read or do anything else.
Lastly, the floor outside the apartment was completely destroyed, which could be dangerous for older adults or people with disabilities.
While the location and comfort were definite highlights, these issues did impact the overall experience.
