“This is an exceptional property, beautifully restored from a sprawling 17th century Catalan farmhouse. The couple that run it are very engaging and helpful and the food, prepared by the husband, is simply outstanding. It is very much in the country and a great place to relax and disconnect, which was what we wanted from the experience. If you want a more urban experience, this is not the place for you, but we just loved it. It was stunning.”

“We booked the family room and it was very spacious, beds and pillows very comfortable. It was also nice and quiet. Close enough to shops, restaurants and bars. Girona generally feels like a lovely safe city. We just thought the room looked a bit tired and needs some attention and it suffered from a pet peeve of mine: nowhere to hang 4 wet towels and not enough hooks. Also the door stop in the bathroom needs a rethink, ouch! ”
