“I’m confident it will be better over time, but right now they have quite a bit to work on. Many drinking glass were not cleaned and spider web on some chairs. Despite >85% empty (my assumption) we got an apartment where we had to go up some stairs to reach it. No elevator and not possible to change. The reception is not very quick or helpful. Took 10 minutes from the got or passports until check in was done, or even more. On the plus side, it’s rather affordable to be this section of……

“Great location! Check in was easy, the kitchen is well equipped and smartly located next to the outdoor dinning. Plenty of room in the garage…we allocated three cars. The house has very good size, living room, kitchen and bedrooms are large and comfortable. We spent great family time ”

“É a minha segunda vez no Monte do Giestal, mas tal como na primeira, uma estadia prolongada de 5 dias. Tudo é bom aqui, desde as amplas e equipadas casas, super confortáveis, ao espaço exterior, sossego, comida entregue a porta de casa pelas sempre atenciosas funcionárias que não deixam que falte nada. Mais, venho com o meu cão, de porte grande, e também ele adora o Monte. Tem bastante espaço para correr livremente e é muito bem recebido. ”

“We spent ten days in Portugal and were blown away by the landscapes, people, culture and food. We traveled around several areas south of Lisbon but this Eco Lodge was the most wonderful experience of all -- we stayed in both the Tree House and the Bungalow. Manuel & Hélène the owners were so lovely, warm and gracious -- helpful in guiding us to one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen and other sites in the area. “This property is NOT where it shows on the map, it is 10 minutes down the street and not in the village of Comporta. There is only one AC unit, and the bedrooms get very hot. The house was not clean upon arrival and the cleaning people were still there. The microwave didn't work either. I am still waiting for my refund. The management company is difficult to work with and communicate with. Cute pool though. ”

“These are great apartments for a family. New, fresh and spacious. The area is beautiful, untouched and quiet. The village itself is offensively overpriced, so if you're coming from Lisbon, do a shop before you get there! Great golf course up the road”
