My state was wonderful. From the time I checked in till the time I checked out the staff was smiling, professional, and accommodating. My only issue was my room was not as clean as I feel. It should have been the room area looked as if it was not carefully swept. There was threading from the last person, clothing or luggage on the floor and bed the bathroom Looked as if someone had just got out of it. The refrigerator had left over colorful liquid in it. Room could have been cleaner, but everything else was nice.

I stayed at this hotel recently and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. On several occasions, the receptionist (Rachel) was on her phone and had to be prompted to assist me when I arrived at the desk, which didn’t give a welcoming impression. While the hotel did accommodate my request for an early check-in, the room itself was far from clean. It looked as though it had only been quickly gone over with a hoover. There were strands of hair on the bed, in the shower, and in the sink, and the overall feel of the room was unclean. This left me disappointed with the standard of service and cleanliness.

Hotel was good place to lay your head for the night. However there was no body wash in dispenser, a light on the fire alarm was flashing and there was an open tampon in the nook for the ironing board. Breakfast was good. Parking was plenty. Staff was nice. Other than aforementioned concerns, the hotel was clean.

You didn’t have my room for me. You gave it away to someone else. When I arrived to check in you said another party who didn’t have a reservation needed my room because it was Elvis week. You didn’t honor my reservation and sent me away to find somewhere else to go on my own. Y’all suck big time.

Here it is going into five days since my visit and Avid still has not returned my “incidentals” charge. This practice of charging this ridiculous fee is just a way for these multi-million dollar corporations to sit on piles and piles of customers’ money.

We had reserved 2 queen beds for our room and when we got there 1am, the front desk told us that they were sold out of the queen beds and were going to give us 1 king. We had booked our room 6 months in advance so it’s surprising that they gave it to someone else. We got to our room and the door wouldn’t open and front desk tried to open the door with hangers and knives. We ended up not staying there and having to walk to 5 mins to the hotel behind.

Disappointed and Disturbed by My Stay I stayed at the AVID hotel from Thursday to Sunday and unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Although I never requested room service, I did expect basic cleanliness during a multi-day stay. The room was never cleaned, despite asking for towels twice—someone finally came by around 11 PM, but the room remained untouched. Even when I explicitly requested a cleaning, the staff only picked up dirty towels and stretched out the same sheets. A piece of paper I purposely left on the floor to test attentiveness remained in the exact spot throughout my stay. The final night was the worst—a cockroach crawled out, which was terrifying and unacceptable in any accommodation. To add to the distress, my rental car was stolen from the front of the hotel at around 10:30 PM. While I recognize that crime can happen anywhere and that the hotel isn’t directly responsible, the police requested security footage, which should be standard procedure for guest safety. This stay left me feeling unsettled and deeply disappointed.
